Kianna Lewis is an educator, creative, mentor, and ministry leader whose life and work are deeply rooted in faith, music, children, and community. Her love for music began in the church and was nurtured through family, worship, and the rich cultural traditions that taught her early on that music has the power to gather people, tell stories, preserve memories, and bring joy.
With more than a decade of experience in early childhood education, Kianna has dedicated much of her professional life to creating spaces where children, families, educators, and communities feel seen, supported, and empowered. Her work spans education, coaching, curriculum development, professional learning, youth ministry, and the creation of intentional experiences that nurture social-emotional development, creativity, confidence, and connection.
At the heart of everything Kianna does is a desire to help people recognize, embrace, and confidently use their unique voices. Whether she is singing, teaching, mentoring, creating, or serving in ministry, she approaches each opportunity with joy, intentionality, and a deep appreciation for the power of community.
Kianna is grateful to be part of Black Nativity, where faith, culture, storytelling, music, and community come together in a way that feels beautifully connected to so much of what she values most.
